TRW Consult Delivered Digital Campaign for YouWIN! 2 – Empowering Women Entrepreneurs Across Nigeria

LAGOS, NIGERIA – 2013 — TRW Consult is proud to have played a key role in the successful rollout of the online awareness campaign for YouWIN! 2, the second phase of the Federal Government of Nigeria’s entrepreneurship initiative, which focused exclusively on empowering female entrepreneurs.

YouWIN! (Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria) was a multi-agency initiative launched in 2011 to promote job creation and entrepreneurial growth through business plan competitions, grants, and capacity-building support. YouWIN! 2, launched in 2012, was tailored specifically for Nigerian women aged 18–45 with innovative business ideas and existing ventures in need of support.

TRW Consult’s Role

In recognition of its expertise in digital engagement, TRW Consult was contracted to design and execute the official online campaign for YouWIN! 2. Our mandate included:

• Developing compelling content across digital platforms
• Managing the social media presence to drive awareness and encourage applications
• Executing targeted outreach to ensure widespread participation by women entrepreneurs across Nigeria
• Supporting digital visibility during critical campaign phases, from call-for-entry to grant announcements

Our campaign helped amplify the program’s reach, ensuring that thousands of aspiring and existing women entrepreneurs across urban and rural areas were informed and inspired to apply.

YouWIN! 2: Impact Snapshot

• Over 55,000 female entrepreneurs submitted business plans
• 1,200 women-led businesses received grants to start or scale operations
• The program created thousands of direct and indirect jobs
• It sparked a new wave of women-led innovation across agriculture, fashion, tech, retail, and manufacturing sectors
